Medical transportation and repatriation

Urgent evacuation to a medical facility is a crucially important factor in providing effective treatment in case of severe trauma or other acute condition. To transport our patient to medical facility in Russia or home country for further treatment, we have at our disposal all means of transportation from ambulance cars to helicopters and specially equipped medical aircraft. Depending on the condition of the patient and distance we choose different options of repatriation:

• evacuation on regular flight on stretchers in business class (patient is fit to fly with medical escort and doesn't need any intensive care during the trip);
• evacuation on air ambulance (patient needs intensive care);
• evacuation by helicopter (emergency condition requires immediate transportation to the medical establishment which is situated not far than 300 km from the site, patient does need intensive care);
• evacuation by ambulance (patient is stable and needs evacuation from the place unreachable by other means of transport)

EuroMed has chosen several providers of aviation services for partnership - depending on the route needed we use Russian and European providers. Medical team of nurses and intensive care physicians are ready to accompany the patient immediately after we receive the request for evacuation. They have kit of medications and equipment to support patient during the flight, including ALV machine, defibrillator, mobile life function monitoring unit, etc.
