I. HIV certificates.
According to state regulations, every foreigner staying in the country for more than 90 days, are requested to present HIV test certificate. II. Work and residence permit health check-ups

This medical examination is required in accordance to the decree number 188 of the Government of Russian Federation from April 2, 2003. This decree sets forth a list of infectious diseases that are considered hazardous. The decree also forbids Russian companies to hire foreign employees who suffer from one of the below stated diseases:

That is the reason why every foreign citizen who would like to be employed by Russian company is supposed to pass though annual medical health check-up. This check-up is necessary to get Russian work permit (plastic card). It includes IV blood test (goes to rule out HIV, Lepra, Hansen's disease, predominant sexually transmitted diseases), chest X-Rays and common doctor's check-up.
