Inpatient Department
EuroMed inpatient department is aimed at treating planned and emergency patients on the basis of our wards. EuroMed has four fully equipped emergency rooms, with two of them providing intensive care in case of severe medical conditions. The following equipment is available:
- centralized oxygen supply;
- life function control monitors (heart rate and rhythm, blood pressure, breathing level, ECG, etc.);
- defibrillator;
- artificial lung ventilation system;
- infusion pumps for IV therapy;
- a full set of medications and equipment to provide emergency assistance and intensive care procedures.
For comfort of our patients, EuroMed rooms are equipped with special anti-pressure sores bed mattresses with remote control height and angle adjustment. The patient can press an intercom button to talk to the doctor or the nurse. A physician on duty is always available to assist the patient immediately.
We do our best to make our patients feel comfortable while they are in the clinic, creating home-like atmosphere and lowering discomfort of being at the hospital. A full range of amenities, starting from slippers, gown and personal care items to plasma TV, wireless Internet access and a selection of DVDs and books in foreign languages is available in each room. Meals are based on patients' preferences and physician dietary recommendations; the menu has a list of over 100 various dishes.
We are always happy to welcome visitors at reasonable hours. If a relative would like to stay with the patient around the clock, we will be glad to provide him with an additional bed.
Our capabilities are not endless, but all of us here at EuroMed will do everything in our power to keep our patients in good health.
