Vaccination
Timely vaccination substantially reduces the risk of virus and infectious diseases. Scheduled vaccination is necessary both for adults going to countries with an increased risk of developing diseases, which are rare for our climate, and for children in the period of immunity formation.
Parents are often afraid of vaccination or inclined to be over-anxious in connection with the necessity to make immunization of children on time in a definite age. Attentive pediatricians and neonatology physicians will offer you an individual vaccination schedule taking into account the conditions of birth, life and traits of the child in compliance with the World Health Organization instructions. Afterwards parents won’t have to follow the schedule – our pediatrician service will timely remind you of the vaccination necessity. Our pediatricians do not advise you to completely refuse of immunization as this may lead to serious diseases both in childhood and in adulthood.
You may have an appointment with the immunologist of the EuroMed Clinic, who implements scheduled and unplanned vaccination against various diseases. Before every vaccination, even if it is the most ordinary one, you will be consulted by our specialist. You will be informed on the vaccination time-course, the recommended schedule of immunization, the adverse action possibility and contraindications to application. In addition the specialist will make a general examination and tell you about the best period for immunization. You may also get advice of our pharmacist on duty on general questions connected with vaccines and vaccination.
